Louder Together

Angella Corinna

Angella Corinna is a Singer-Songwriter, based in the Midlands, who has spent the last twenty years travelling to Bristol to participate in the city’s vibrant music scene. She began songwriting as a teenager but she has been consistently songwriting for the last twenty five years. Angella Corinna is influenced by the classic Singer-Songwriters including Carole King, Bob Dylan, Tracy Chapman, Kirsty MacColl and Bob Marley.

Her songwriting really evolved after she attended the UK Songwriting Festival at Bath Spa University in the Summer of 2006. This was a life changing experience as it was like a songwriting bootcamp and this helped Angella Corinna take her songwriting to a higher level. Since 2012 she has been part of the Songwriting Circle based at The Midlands Art Centre in Birmingham.

In 2021 Angella Corinna released her first EP, “I Protest.” This was a collection of socially conscious songs about “the people and the planet.”

In July 2025 she released her second EP “Nature’s End.” This was inspired by the dystopian 1980’s novel of the same title. The songs are a reflection on the Covid years and they are also personal reflections on her life experiences

Angella Corinna often performs at folk clubs in the Midlands and she has also performed in Bristol. She continues to write new songs and to develop her songwriting skills and abilities.
