Last year Bmin attended a meeting held at Bristol Beacon to discuss the idea of a new Bristol Music Fund. Earlier this week a further meeting was held with concrete plans for the setup of a Community Benefit Society (CBS) to manage those funds. The intent is to collect the funds using a 1% levy on event ticket sales. The fund will then be managed by the CBS. Here is a PDF of the meeting content and decisions………………
