BRISTOL MUSIC TRUST

Bristol Beaconl is run by BMT, an independent organisation and registered charity (no. 1140898) created to develop the Beacon’s artistic programme and promote music and music making in Bristol. BMT supports the objectives of Bmin and provides the Terrace Bar space for us to conduct the monthly meetings and other rooms when the need arises. They also provide administrative support and a good supply of tea, coffee and sandwiches for the lunchtime meetings.

Bmin are delighted to have secured a money-saving deal for its members with Highworth Insurance. They are a specialist insurance broker with a high quality musical instrument insurance scheme. The policy can cover professionals or enthusiasts and a wide variety of instruments from classical violins through to electric guitars and pianos. The policy covers accidental damage, fire, loss or theft. It can be extended to cover theft from vehicles and public liability.

BRISTOL MUSICIANS ADVICE SERVICE

Bmin are delighted to connect its members to a legal advice service supported by the UWE.

BRISTOL MUSICIANS ADVICE SERVICE (BMAS) is a free legal advice/legal assistance service operated by the University of the West of England. Comprising of students, supervised by a law staff member with many years of experience in music industry affairs, the service can give assistance on matters involving contracts and intellectual property.
